Rat Contaminated Loft Insulation Removal
Rat contaminated loft insulation removal
Rats in a loft can leave insulation soiled, flattened and torn apart. Once a pest control specialist has dealt with the rats, our insulation operatives can remove the affected insulation to an agreed scope, so your loft can be re-insulated and used again.

Suitability & assessment
- How rats can damage a loft: they burrow and nest in insulation, flattening it so it keeps less heat in; they leave droppings and urine that soil it and cause smells; and they gnaw — including electrical cables, pipes, timber and stored belongings.
- Gnawed wiring can be a fire risk. If you see chewed cables, have them checked by a qualified electrician.
- We don’t provide pest control. The rats and how they got in need to be dealt with by a specialist before insulation is removed and replaced.
